Ive recently been reading the gospel of John, but rather than just reading it and not really thinking about it (you know what it can be like, you hear it so many times you think you know it all) and in the first chapter alone there are so many corrective truths to some of todays ideology and some peoples faiths and beliefs (more accuratly described as lies from the devil) that its always great to just be remnded of the truth, and the truth that the bible puts it.
One of the first things is that it promptly proclaims that Jesus is God, that God created all, and that God rukes over all. Another truth is that people often claim that"you're a child of God whether you like it or not" Wheras the truth is that once you've accepted God, Jesus as your saviour, then you INHERIT the right to become a child of God. And, its not by human willingness, but because you're born of God.
Its really important to familiarize yourself with the bible, and to always remember the truths written in it.

God bless you all

Today has been another challenging day, when the realisation hit at just what rubbish was being taught and preaced as the word of truth by churches despite it being evidently contrary to scripture.
I do fervantly appoligise to any non christians, and indeed to God on behalf of the church today who seem to be so mixed up in following tailor made beliefs and doctrines that are suited to what they feel comfortable with. The truth of the matter is that at times the christian life isn't comfortable (Matt 5:11-12), and the ways of God are hard to understand, but that doesnt mean that we should believe things what the world says rather than what the bible says.
If only the church would actually listen to God. If only Christians were seeking to please God and not man. Infact I dare say that there would probably be more of an appeal about Christianity if people would step out of the comfort area, and live by what the bible says. Can you do it?
