Ive recently been reading the gospel of John, but rather than just reading it and not really thinking about it (you know what it can be like, you hear it so many times you think you know it all) and in the first chapter alone there are so many corrective truths to some of todays ideology and some peoples faiths and beliefs (more accuratly described as lies from the devil) that its always great to just be remnded of the truth, and the truth that the bible puts it.
One of the first things is that it promptly proclaims that Jesus is God, that God created all, and that God rukes over all. Another truth is that people often claim that"you're a child of God whether you like it or not" Wheras the truth is that once you've accepted God, Jesus as your saviour, then you INHERIT the right to become a child of God. And, its not by human willingness, but because you're born of God.
Its really important to familiarize yourself with the bible, and to always remember the truths written in it.

i thought that everyone was Gods child NO MATTER WHAT...now im really confused
Nothing can seperate you from the love of God tat is in Christ Jeuss, but if you read John 1 carefully, you'll see what i mean
sorry but i still cant find anything of the sort in john 1...so im still really confused

But to all who did accept him and believe in him he gave the right to become children of God. They did not become his children in any human way - by any human parents or any human desire. They were born of God
no offence or anything but i read those but i think that verse is misunderstood...the nore you talk about it the more confused i get
But when you do believe and rely on him, even if u go aside a little bit you are his child always after that. right???
